I was wondering if it would be a problem if I baked her some plain dog cookies using a cup or so of decaffinated coffee in place of water? I guess the overall amount would be on cup of decaffinated coffee split up amongst 40 - 50 cookies. Thanks!

Again SMALL DOGS are not the problem. In fact there is a shortage of them judging by the shelters long waiting lists for adoption so that is obviously a waste of time and resources. It is the large dogs who have 10-12 pups per litter vs small dogs 3-4 pups per litter.

What position within that pack does the family dog give view itself?
