You have the straightforward stuff like Silversun Pickups, The Daysleepers, and Airiel; then you have new noise-pop bands like the Raveonettes, Gliss, and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. A few metal bands have also taken some interest in shoegaze. It's not like it's becoming a huge thing, but I'd say the sound is VERY common as an influence for lots of new indie groups

I like Garbage a great deal, but I don't agree that those songs are better than everything by Curve.
Heavy electronic song's aren't eveyone's absolute fav songs. Curve tends to lean more toward Shoegazing and Garbage toward Industrial. Preference between the two is a matter of taste.

Look into the term "nu-gaze" on google or wikipedia. There are a lot of great new bands out there. You have the straightforward stuff like Silversun Pickups, The Daysleepers, and Airiel; then you have new noise-pop bands like the Raveonettes, Gliss, and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. A few metal bands have also taken some interest in shoegaze. It's not like it's becoming a huge thing, but I'd say the sound is VERY common as an influence for lots of new indie groups
